We all know what we can squat, deadlift and especially bench in the gym. Of course strength is very important for health, but the most underutilized segment of our training system is flexibility. The ability to stretch our muscles is at least as important as strength and can actually increase our strength. The ability of muscle to grow depends in part of its length. To avoid potentially dangerous and ineffective stretches, stretches have to follow a certain system and order.
